Violent Femmes

Violent Femmes is a band featuring Gordon Gano on guitar and vocals, Brian Ritchie on bass, Blaisa Garza on multiple instruments, and John Sparrow on drums. Previous members included drummers Victor DeLorenzo (1980–1993, 2002–2013), Guy Hoffman (1993–2002), and Brian Viglione (2013–2016). The first show I ever went to without my parents was a Violent Femmes show featuring The Decemberists, and the second time I saw them was 19 years later.
