Maita

Maita is a band featuring the eponymous Maira Maita-Keppeler on guitar and vocals, often joined by her band which has included Matthew Zeltzer on guitar; Nevada Sowle and Dave Depper on bass, Cooper Trail and Matthew Berger on drums, Will Haas on mandolin, Skip Von Kuske on cello, and Tucker Jackson on pedal steel.

In 2024, I filmed the music video for Maita’s I Used To Feel Different (Maria herself did all the editing), on-site in my backyard and around north Portland.
