Strfkr
Strfkr is a band featuring Joshua Hodges on vocals, keyboards, guitar, drums; Shawn Glassford on bass, keyboards, drums; Keil Corcoran on drums, keyboards, vocals; and Arian Jalali on guitar and keyboards. Previous members included Ryan Biornstad, Ian Luxton, Patrick Morris, and Andrew Connor.
The band was originally known as Starfucker, named for the Rolling Stones song Star Star, which itself was originally called Starfucker, referring to those who seek to fuck stars (a fact that I learned while hanging out with art school kids in Los Angeles in 2010). As they grew in popularity, a manager recommended the less profanity-ridden Pyramiddd, which generated much mockery before they returned to their original name, which ultimately became the vowelless Strfkr. Founded in Portland and ostensibly still based there, they are not necessarily involved in the local music scene as of 2026.
