Mope Grooves

Mope Grooves was the musical project of Stevie Pohlman, joined by friends including CAP, Penny Olives, Kyle Raquipiso, Raf Spielman, Lee Butterfield, Nik Barnaby, and others. Stevie passed away in February 2024. She was a principled and vocal activist, as may be seen in the liner notes to the band’s final album: I hope all the trans girls reading this know how important it is to me personally that they survive.
